K'taka student writes SSLC exams on stretcher, achieves 1st class

Kusuma, a resident of Karnataka's Kolar, secured a first-class result on Thursday after writing her SSLC exams while lying on a stretcher. She had suffered a serious health issue during the examination period and was brought to the exam centre daily by ambulance, before being taken into the exam hall on a stretcher. Kusuma scored 374 marks out of 625.
