K'taka to issue rules on cadaver dignity after doctor Sejal's joke on Pranit's show

Karnataka government has announced that the state would issue guidelines to ensure that cadavers (deceased bodies) donated for medical education are treated with dignity. This comes after Sejal Pawar, a medical student, was called out for joking about the private parts of male dead bodies on stand-up comedian Pranit More's show. An ethics committee is set to meet next week.
