K'taka university staff perform RSS salute at event, trigger row

A video showing Central University of Karnataka's students and staff performing 'dhwaj pranaam' (a customary salute in RSS) to RSS anthem 'Namaste Sada Vatsale' triggered a row. Karnataka Minister Priyank Kharge said, "Instead of providing quality education, CUK has turned into RSS Shakha." "If [RSS was] banned...I wouldn't have allowed [the event]," CUK Vice-Chancellor Battu Satyanarayana said.
