K'taka working on bill mandating paid menstrual leaves in offices

Karnataka government has formed an 18-member committee to draft a bill mandating paid menstrual leave for six days a year to women in private and government offices. "We're reviewing the proposal...The leave will be flexible, allowing women to choose when they need time off," Karnataka Labour Minister Santosh Lad said. Bihar, Kerala and Odisha already offer menstrual leave to women.
