Kabaddi player found dead in Patiala, drug overdose suspected

Gurpreet Singh, a promising kabaddi player from Dugaal Kalan village of Patiala district, was found dead behind a hotel opposite the Patran bus stand, the local police said. Though the police suspect he died of drug overdose, the exact cause of death would be confirmed after the chemical examination of viscera samples.
