Kabaka-Puttur station to get modern shelter and lifts

Karnataka's Kabaka-Puttur railway station is set for a ₹2.91 crore upgrade. Platform 1 will get a new 3,392 sq m shelter, replacing the old 531 sq m one, and two lifts will be installed near the Foot Over Bridge. The project aims to improve passenger comfort, safety, and convenience during extreme weather. Construction is expected to start soon.
