Kim Beom-su, the 55-year-old Founder of messaging company Kakao, has become South Korea's richest person after his company's shares surged by 90% this year, raising his fortune by $6 billion. With a net worth of $13.5 billion, he has overtaken Samsung Group's heir Lee Jae-yong, according to Bloomberg Billionaires Index. Currently, Lee has a net worth of $12.3 billion.
