Kakkanad drug case accused arrested after six months

Thrikkakara police arrested Neethu, 38, the second accused in the Kakkanad drug smuggling case, after nearly six months on the run. She was caught in Thiruvalla after allegedly shifting hideouts across Kerala and Tamil Nadu. The case involves the seizure of 181 grams of MDMA and 90 grams of ecstasy pills. She has been remanded to judicial custody.
