Kal Somani-led group claims it was pushed out of Rajasthan Royals ownership deal

US-based entrepreneur Kal Somani-led consortium claimed it was pushed out of RR ownership process despite being lead bid throughout the six-month sale process. The group, which includes Walmart heir Rob Walton and the Hamp family, denied reports of funding issues and claimed the process lacked transparency. RR have been acquired by the Mittal family and Adar Poonawalla for ₹15,660 crore.
