Kalicharan Maharaj sent to judicial custody till January 13

Religious leader Kalicharan Maharaj has been sent to judicial custody till January 13 and his bail plea will be heard on January 3. Kalicharan was arrested by Chhattisgarh's Raipur Police from Madhya Pradesh's Khajuraho for his alleged inflammatory speech derogating Mahatma Gandhi at a 'Dharam Sansad'. After his arrest, Kalicharan was remanded to police custody till Saturday.
