Kalshi restricts Indian users from platform weeks after govt ban

Prediction market platform Kalshi has added India to its list of restricted areas, over a month after reports said the government was planning to formally ban prediction market platforms. Earlier, India's IT Ministry warned VPNs against allowing users to access banned betting and prediction platforms. Kalshi, however, claimed it was not informed about any blocking order from the Indian government.
