Kalshi to bar politicians & athletes from trading in their markets

Prediction markets platform Kalshi said on Monday it would prevent politicians and athletes from betting on their ​respective markets, as it intends to stop ‌growing scrutiny on potential insider trading. Kalshi said it has introduced new safeguards blocking political candidates from trading on their own campaigns. Athletes and referees will be barred from betting on related sports markets.
