Kamaal Farooqui rejoins Congress after 20 yrs ahead of Maha polls

Kamaal Farooqui, a senior politician from the Marathwada region of Maharashtra, rejoined Congress on Monday after nearly two decades, along with his son and former NCP spokesperson Umar Kamaal Farooqui. "It's important to defeat the communal right-wing ideology of BJP and such likeminded parties," Farooqui said after joining Congress. Maharashtra will go to polls on November 20.
