Kamindu Mendis becomes fastest Asian to smash 5 Test hundreds

Sri Lanka batter Kamindu Mendis has become the fastest Asian to smash five hundreds in Test cricket. The 25-year-old scored his fifth Test hundred in his 13th innings during the second Test against New Zealand in Galle. Notably, Everton Weekes was the fastest batter to hit five hundreds in Test cricket. He took 10 innings to reach the milestone.
