Kane 1st player in IPL to have his salary reduced by ₹12 cr from previous season

New Zealand's Kane Williamson has become the first player in IPL history to receive a pay cut of ₹12 crore from the previous IPL season. Williamson, who earned ₹14 crore in IPL 2022, was bought by GT for his base price of ₹2 crore in the IPL 2023 auction on Friday. He was released by SRH ahead of auction.
