Kangra panchayats shift 80 stray cattle to gaushala to save crops

Two gram panchayats in Himachal Pradesh’s Kangra district shifted around 80 stray cattle to a gaushala to prevent crop damage and improve road safety. Bharupalahad and Manei panchayats in the Jawali Assembly constituency joined hands to address the growing problem of stray cattle, which have been damaging standing crops and posing risks to road users in the lower Kangra region.
