Kangra suspends solo paragliding flights till Oct 28 in Himachal

Himachal Pradesh's Kangra district suspended solo paragliding from Bir-Billing until October 28 after a 47-year-old Bulgarian, Maksim Gavrilichenko died in a crash on Sunday. His body was recovered on Monday by SDRF. Authorities cited adverse weather and fluctuating air pressure. Several foreign paragliders and the Billing Paragliding Association have opposed the ban.
