Kanhaiya, Umar named in chargesheet in 2016 JNU sedition case

The Delhi Police has filed a 1,200-page chargesheet in 2016 JNU sedition case against then student union president Kanhaiya Kumar, Umar Khalid, Shehla Rashid and CPI leader D Raja's daughter Aparajita Raja, among others. The case relates to raising of alleged "anti-national slogans" at JNU campus during an event to protest against the hanging of Parliament attack convict Afzal Guru.
