Kannur couple held for elderly woman's gold chain snatching

Pariyaram police arrested Tharammal Arjun and his wife Heloise for allegedly snatching an elderly woman's gold chain in Kannur. The couple reportedly stopped Sarojini while she was returning from hospital and stole her one-and-a-half-pavan chain. Police identified and arrested them from Payyanur & Trikaripur and seized their bike. They allegedly told police they needed money to clear debts.
