Kanpur DM Neha Sharma transferred days after violence, Vishak Iyer to replace her

Kanpur Nagar District Magistrate Neha Sharma has been transferred to Local Bodies Department of Uttar Pradesh, days after violence broke out in the district. She will be replaced by CMO Special Secretary Vishak G Iyer. The Uttar Pradesh government on Tuesday announced the transfer of a total of 21 IAS officers. Last month, the state government transferred 16 IAS officers.
