Kanpur farmer builds flower-drying biz; turnover at ₹1.5 crore/yr

Shivraj Nishad quit his job as a medical representative to start flower farming in Uttar Pradesh in 2022. He then began drying flowers for sale to wellness and cosmetics companies. Shivraj now empowers 1,000 farmers by procuring and drying their hibiscus, butterfly pea, jasmine, chamomile and other flowers, providing them with stable incomes. He clocks text ₹1.5 crore annual turnover.
