Former Indian captain Kapil Dev made his Test debut at the age of 19, on October 16, 1978. The all-rounder led India to its maiden World Cup title in 1983. Kapil went on to register 5,248 runs and 434 wickets to become the only Test player with over 4,000 runs and over 400 wickets.
