Kapurthala lynching victim had 30 cuts, many on neck, head: Autopsy

The unidentified man lynched for allegedly attempting sacrilege at Kapurthala gurudwara had 30 cuts, inflicted by sword, an autopsy report has revealed. He had deep cuts on the neck, head, chest and right hip of the body. His viscera was taken to ascertain if he consumed any intoxicants. Notably, the police are yet to file an FIR against the accused.
