Karakulam hospital fire destroys records as patients rescued

A fire broke out at a private hospital in Karakulam this morning, destroying hospital records. The blaze started in a ground-floor storage room and filled the building with thick smoke. Four Fire Force units rescued all patients and fought the flames for hours. Firefighters broke open the roof for ventilation before entering. Officials suspect a short circuit caused the fire.
