Karan Johar revives R&AW founder RN Kao's biopic after 6 years

Karan Johar has announced a film on R&AW founder Rameshwar Nath Kao, based on Nitin Anant Gokhale's book 'RN Kao: Gentleman Spymaster'. The film, first announced in 2020, is scheduled to release in theatres in 2028. The makers announced the project on September 21, 2026, marking 58 years since the foundation of R&AW.
