Karnataka 1st state to enact SC order on right to die with dignity

Karnataka has become the first state to implement Supreme Court order granting terminally ill patients the right to die with dignity. Two medical boards will assess patient's condition and will present their findings to the court. If the court approves, life support will be withdrawn under medical supervision. Notably, the process begins only after a family request.
