Karnataka announces free travel for all students on state buses

The Karnataka government has ordered distribution of free bus passes to all the school and college students travelling on state-run buses and refund for already issued passes. It will cover buses operated by Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation, Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation, North West Karnataka Road Transport Corporation and Kalyana Karnataka Road Transport Corporation.
