Karnataka cabinet to decide on SC/ST quota ruling appeal

After Karnataka High Court struck down a 2022 law raising SC reservation from 15% to 17% and ST from 3% to 7%, Deputy CM Parameshwara said the cabinet will decide on next steps, including approaching the Supreme Court. The law had pushed total reservation to 56%, exceeding the 50% constitutional ceiling.
