Karnataka CM seeks Centre's help on drought, Bengaluru projects

Karnataka CM DK Shivakumar met Union Ministers Rajnath Singh and CR Patil in New Delhi, seeking drought relief of ₹3,705 crore for 177 taluks, defence land for Bengaluru infrastructure, faster clearance for Mekedatu project worth ₹16,745 crore, and Central water-sharing support. He also sought PM Narendra Modi's appointment to discuss drought and Kasturirangan report.
