Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah announces 2nd airport for Bengaluru

Karnataka government has announced the development of a second airport in Bengaluru to decongest Kempegowda International Airport. CM Siddaramaiah made this announcement while the presentation of the state budget and said a feasibility report will be prepared after obtaining technical advice from Airports Authority of India. Kempegowda International Airport is the third busiest airport in India.
