People should be mentally prepared: Karnataka CM on water shortage

Karnataka CM DK Shivakumar urged people to be 'mentally prepared' for drought, drinking water shortage, and electricity crisis. The state has declared 101 taluks drought-hit. He asked MLAs not to panic and warned parties against political exploitation. A special legislature session and cabinet meeting in Mangaluru are planned to address the situation.
