Karnataka declares holiday on December 11 over SM Krishna's demise

Karnataka government announced a public holiday on Wednesday (December 11) to mourn the demise of former CM SM Krishna. Accordingly, all government offices, schools and colleges will remain closed tomorrow. The state will also observe a three-day mourning period from December 10-12. Notably, SM Krishna, who passed away today, was credited with transforming Bengaluru into Silicon Valley of India.
