Karnataka doctors find 'Fetus in fetu' in 2-month-old baby

Doctors at Sahana Hospital in Sindhanur, Karnataka, found a fetus-like structure inside the abdomen of a two-month-old baby boy who was brought in with abdominal swelling, vomiting and poor weight gain. The condition is suspected to be fetus in fetu, a rare developmental abnormality. The baby was referred to Vijayanagara Institute of Medical Sciences (VIMS) in Ballari.
