Karnataka doctors save child's life in rare, free surgery

Doctors at the Sri Madhusudan Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research saved a three-year-old child from Chhattisgarh through a rare airway surgery done completely free of cost. The child had suffered subglottic stenosis after an earlier heart surgery and needed multiple complex procedures. After staged treatment, she can now breathe and speak normally, giving her a new lease on life.
