Karnataka ex-CM HD Kumaraswamy wins Channapatna Assembly seat

Karnataka former CM and JD(S) leader HD Kumaraswamy has won the Channapatna seat in the state Assembly elections. Kumaraswamy won the seat by defeating BJP leader CP Yogeshwara by a margin of over 15,000 votes. This comes as Congress has won 122 seats in the state Assembly elections, while the BJP has won 56 so far.
