Karnataka fake drug racket kingpin arrested at Bengaluru airport

The alleged kingpin of Karnataka's counterfeit drug racket, 36-year-old R Prashanth, was arrested at Kempegowda International Airport after arriving from Sharjah. He had fled during an August 18 raid at an unlicensed facility near Bidadi, where medicines worth ₹5 crore were seized. An SIT is set to seek his custody for further questioning.
