Karnataka government orders sunflower procurement at ₹7,721 MSP

The Karnataka government has announced procurement of sunflower crops from the 2025-26 Rabi season at an MSP of ₹7,721 per quintal. Procurement centres will be opened across 11 districts under central guidelines. The move aims to support farmers, prevent distress sales, and ensure smooth procurement operations through NAFED, NCCF, and state agencies.
