Karnataka govt cuts funds for differently-abled by 80%: Reports
Karnataka government has reportedly cut down the funds allocated for schemes supporting the differently-abled by 80%. Last year, the government allocated ₹53 crore for various schemes, and now it has been reduced to ₹10 crore. The affected schemes include distribution of hearing aids. Reportedly, the government has also increased the fees of government hospitals by 10 -15%, including OPD charges.
