Karnataka HC judge refers to Bengaluru area as 'Pakistan', says 'police beaten up there'

Karnataka High Court's Justice Vedavyasachar Srishananda sparked a controversy after referring to a Muslim-dominated area in Bengaluru as Pakistan. "Mysore flyover right up to the flower market from Gori Palya is in Pakistan, not in India...No matter how strict police officer you put there, they will be beaten up there," he said. He said this during a hearing last month.
