Karnataka HC quashes 2018 Anjanadri temple takeover orders

The Karnataka High Court quashed state government orders bringing the Anjaneya Swamy temple on Anjanadri Hill, Koppal — believed to be Lord Hanuman's birthplace — under the Muzrai department. Justice M Nagaprasanna ruled affected parties were denied a hearing, violating natural justice. The government may initiate fresh proceedings. Chief priest Vidyadasa Baba retains the right to perform puja.
