Karnataka heatwave: Temperatures cross 40°C in north districts

A severe heatwave is sweeping Karnataka, with temperatures crossing 40°C in several North districts. Kalaburagi recorded 42°C, as the IMD issued warnings for multiple regions. Bengaluru is also witnessing rising temperatures above normal levels. Authorities have advised residents to avoid outdoor activity during peak hours and stay hydrated.
