Karnataka leads in Electric Vehicle charging stations

Karnataka boasts the highest number of public Electric Vehicle (EV) charging stations in India, with 5,765 stations as reported by the Bureau of Energy Efficiency. The Bengaluru Urban district accounts for approximately 85% of the state’s EV charging stations, with Bengaluru City alone having close to 4,462 stations.
