Karnataka marks 1.10 crore voter names for deletion under SIR

Karnataka has marked 1.10 crore voter names for deletion under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls. Bengaluru alone accounts for 49.34 lakh names, nearly 48% of its electorate. Eligible voters can seek corrections until August 8 or re-register using Form 6 after August 8 to be included in the final electoral roll.
