Karnataka plans India's 1st ever govt backed AI University

Karnataka is preparing to introduce a Bill for an AI university during the upcoming Winter Session. The proposed institution will focus on AI education, research and collaboration between academia, industry and government. The State also plans an AI Hub for startups, companies and researchers. Karnataka contributes nearly 40% of India's software exports.
