The Karnataka government on Tuesday, 31 March has notified the rules for the Karnataka Platform-Based Gig Workers (Social Security and Welfare) Act, 2025. Under the rules, every matter shall be considered in a meeting of the welfare board or via circulation of a resolution as directed by the Chairman. The Board shall meet at least once every three months.
