Karnataka reports 5 new cases of Omicron variant, state tally reaches 19

Karnataka confirmed five fresh cases of the Omicron variant of coronavirus on Sunday, according to state Health Minister Dr K Sudhakar. The cases have been reported from Dharwad, Bhadravathi, Udupi and Mangaluru. As per reports, most of the patients are asymptomatic and they are all fully vaccinated against COVID-19. So far, Karnataka has reported 19 cases of the Omicron variant.
