Karnataka resident doctors, PG medical students call off strike

The resident doctors and PG medical students of Karnataka called off their strike as the Karnataka Medical Education Department, on Friday, August 23 passed an order hiking the stipend by 25 percent. The strike launched by resident doctors on August 12 lasted for eleven days before their demands were met.
