Karnataka rolls out online automated khata transfer

Karnataka has introduced an automated mutation system to simplify online khata transfers through the Bhoomi portal. Revenue Minister Krishna Byre Gowda said the new process will reduce delays, eliminate middlemen and curb corruption. If no objections are raised within the notice period, property records will be updated automatically, ensuring faster ownership document processing.
