Karnataka schools to get textbooks before reopening

Karnataka has started distributing textbooks for the 2026-27 academic year ahead of school reopening. Over 85% of the printing work has been completed, while more than 75% of the books have reached taluk warehouses. The government has approved ₹264.62 crore for free textbook distribution to over 61 lakh students, including PU college and pre-primary students in government institutions.
