Karnataka seer booked for 'no voting rights for Muslims' remark
An FIR has been registered against Karnataka seer Kumara Chandrashekaranatha Swamiji after he suggested that a law should be enacted to strip Muslims of their voting power. He made the statement during a protest against Waqf Board and added that taking someone else's land is against "Dharma". However, he later apologised for his remark calling it a "slip of tongue".
